It’s that time of year again, Nova Scotia music lovers!
Every year around the first weekend of November, Nova Scotia’s music community descends on one incredibly well prepared Nova Scotia town to mix, mingle, perform, learn, and make business happen at Molson Canadian Nova Scotia Music Week which this year is powered by Marcato Festival.
In addition to providing Music Nova Scotia’s staff with an industry focused platform to communicate and collaborate while planning the Festival and conference, all the data on shows, workshops and artists they’ve programmed using our tools is being used to populate Nova Scotia Music Week’s Official Mobile App developed by Lixar!

This year, the magic happens once again in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia where for four days the Rodd Grand Hotel becomes the go-to place for Canadian and international music professionals.
Artists, artist managers, presenters, booking agents, label executives, international delegates and more will spend the next few days and nights developing relationships and building career opportunities.
Behind the scenes, Music Nova Scotia’s staff along with volunteers from the host community have been hard at work planning and organizing for the big event which includes three days of conference workshops and business meetings, three nights of showcases with more than 80 artists in 8 venues, an awards brunch and a gala awards show.
An event this size means lots of people spend lots of hours working to make it a success, and Marcato Festival is there to help every step of the way.
